Today, the technology of the information age has arrived, cell phones, computers almost becomethe necessity in every family. Digital images, audio, video and other databases files are increasinglybeing manufactured, spread and used. But the rapid development of network multimedia makes thecopyright issues of these products face a huge crisis. Then how to protect the copyright of files, how torestrict illegal copying and random destruction to ensure the integrity of data? In response to this urgentproblem, digital watermarking emerged to bring the dawn. Watermarking technology has beenconcerned by the majority of scholars in recent years, and develop quickly also be applied to more andmore areas.Firstly, the paper gives a detailed introduction to the history of development of the digitalwatermarking, its principle characteristics, its classification and communication model. The paper givesthe watermark model, a detailed explanation of the principle of video watermarking and classificationthrough flow diagram and schematic intuitively. A vivid description of the video digital watermarkingdetection mode and the relevant detection mode of watermark extraction are also propsed. In addition, itlists the main attacks of video data and application areas of digital video watermarking, and laid thetheoretical foundation for the later digital video watermarking algorithm.Secondly, the paper describes the development process of Contourlet transform. The principle ofContourlet transform is introduced from the components. In addition, the development ofzero-watermark are briefly introduced, at the same time this paper proposes a video zero-watermarksecurity algorithm based on the Contourlet transform, which has been hailed as the "real" tool to capturethe geometric structure of the two-dimensional signal. The algorithm uses Contourlet transform to dealwith each frame image of the original video, and selects the low frequency coefficients to construct thezero-watermark. The experimental results show that the algorithm makes the imperceptibility androbustness have a good compromise and can resist MPEG compression and other common video attackeffectively.Last, this paper gives the advantage of Contourlet transform and its applications, the models ofzero-watermark are briefly introduced, and this paper proposes a video zero-watermark algorithm basedon the combine of Contourlet transform and the game of life scrambling, which has been known as theoptimal solution of two-dimensional signal processing. The algorithm uses the advantage of Contourletto process the key frame and get the low-frequency coefficients, then combines the rules of the lifegame to generate feature image with core algorithm, and uses encryption algorithm to makepretreatment for watermark in order to enhance security. Experimental results show that the algorithm isa good compromise between invisibility and robustness, and can effectively resist the commongeometric attacks and video attacks.
