As one of a important state in the life cycle of components, naturallong-term storage indoor has vital significance. For components which will be used insystem that will be stored for a long term and requires high reliability, the performance ofthe components after long-term storage worthy studying. Whether the performance meetthe requirements of the system and ensure the success when be used is a very importantproblem. Considering all about this, do a study about the influence on power devices afterlong-term storage. It is helpful for storage, screening and using of power devices.First of all, do a brief introduction about the research on storage reliability. And do acomparative analysis on natural storage and accelerate test. Make a brief elaboration onthe reinspection requirement for valid storage term and exceeded valid storage term andthe calculation of storage term.Then discuss the principle of power devices. At the same time, make a detailedintroduction about the encapsulation theory, especially about power device. All this workwill be great help for the research on the performance change.Third, do a comprehensive study on the influence of long-term storage on powerdevices. Sum all the effects up in3points, temperature, relative humidity and chemicalfactor. Do much work on the influence mechanism of component performance. Introducesome failure model in storage. Research the mechanism of each failure model and presentsome failure examples.At last do a detailed test on all the samples. And do a detailed analysis about theperformance drift. As one of the most important analysis method, DPA is also used to testthe package performance after a long-term storage. In the end, get the influence model oflong-term storage on power devices from the experimental results. Give some suggestionsto improve the storage reliability and reinspection requirement.
