Polyurethane is a new kind of induction of intelligent materials and it also has the potential characteristics of large deformation, short responsable time, high flexibility and high electromechanical conversion efficiency. As an important raw material of robot muscles options, high dielectric constant of particles polyurethane research caught the attention of the academia.In order to make a non-contact detection of polyurethane deformation, the paper proposes a polyurethane electrically induced deformation detection method based on image analysis to monitor the whole deformation process of polyurethane.In this method, we first acquisite the image, using digital camera to take pictures of the polyurethane in different voltages, and then use the suitable image processing algorithms for image enhancement, scale regional location and tilt correction, polyurethane image segmentation.Finally, according to the result of segmentation and scale calibration correction,we can get the size of polyurethane.In order to make non-contact detection of polyurethane polyurethane deformation, this article uses the method based on image analysis to monitor the whole process of deformation of polyurethane. When the polyurethane breakdown, we take precise measure and the regularity of deformation of the polyurethane for subsequent improvement of polyurethane materials. In the paper,we first acquisite the image, using a digital camera take a series of images of the polyurethane in different voltages, and then use the suitable image processing algorithms for image enhancement, scale regional location and tilt correction, image segmentation of polyurethane.Finally, according to the result of segmentation scale calibration correction, we can calculate the aera of polyurethane.The article mainly discusses the image enhancement, positioning of the polyurethane area, the tilt correction and image segmentation of the scale, the polyurethane deformation test.The main working content is as follows:(1) image enhancement:In order to ensure the accuracy of the polyurethane deformation detection, the image enhancement processing must be carried out.Aiming at the enhancement algorithm based on traditional RGB model is difficult to control the image color information, the proposed method based on nonsampled Contourlet transform and HSV model. Experimental results show that the method not only obviously improve the clarity, visual effect is good, and has a high signal-to-noise ratio.(2) the tilt correction of the scale:Owing to the error of the angle is inevitable in the process, we need make tilt correction of image scale, in order to obtain the relatively accurate area of polyurethane. In the paper, we use a correction method based on rectangular box matching, namely the pixels of rotating and moving pixel level comparison overlap, essentially to get the degree of the slope angle to achieve the purpose of correction. The method is simple, easy to understand and to apply, and can get accurate translation results.(3) image segmentation:Image segmentation of polyurethane is one of the key steps, the segmentation result is determine to the deformation accuracy of detection. The traditional FCM algorithm in image segmentation can only consider the gray information of pixels, ignoring the spatial position relationship among pixels. We use a method based on Markov random field to describe the neighborhood relationship between image pixels,modifing FCM algorithm based on Markov random field in rejecting the concept of degree of the clustering objective function.The paper proposes a new method to determine initial type and initial clustering center. Considering the relationship of space position among the pixels based on FCM algorithm.Experiments show that the method of segmentation effect is good, the successful spliting rate is high.(4) polyurethane’s deformation detection:Using Origin8.0and MATLAB7.0to analysis the data from the results of tests for polyurethane polyurethane deformation,we can get the deformation curve at different temperatures.Through the analysis of the curve,it can help us to improve the performance of polyurethane.
