The Design And Implementation Of Face Recognition System

By studying the algorithm which is currently mature human face recognitionsset of face recognition systems which include face detection and recognition wasproposed in this paper, based on PC.Primarily, A face detection algorithm named viola-jones has beenintroduced.The algorithm is based on Haar and face detection algorithm of Adaboost，which attributes to the realm of means of face detection. With slim modification forAdaboost, it can form a powerful device for qualiifcation by compound sorts of lesspowerful ones according to function? In this way, functions have been improved.Secondly, the thesis introduces the influences that have been brought by imageillumination and dimension to face recognition, and i have taken measure to eliminatethese influences, that before detection and recognition we should do somepretreatments for the imageAlso, analysed comprehensively on this technique, introduced PCA, which isbased on statistic analysis，and illustrated the core thought of the algorithm and briefexplanations on covariance eigenvalue and eigenvector.Finally, the thesis proposes a framework lfowchart for face recognition system,introduces the sotfware environment which is used to implement the sysytem,implementation language and open source libraries. Then, the thesis indroduces theprocess of the face recognition system through a flowchart and summarize thecontents of each step detailedly. At last，it describes the core code of each step andatt’aches the system sotfware resultsdemontrations of the operating interface.
