With the development of market economy in China, the competition is becoming more and more intense among enterprises which have accumulated a large amount of data in their daily operations and management. The market environment is changeable and diverse,decision-makers are very eager to analyze data business.Intelligent Decision Support System is the integrated use of expert systems, artificial intelligence, knowledge data, and other auxiliary tools and technologies combined with traditional decision-making system. The data mining technology is applied to the system. Database-related decision-making data is mined, analyzed and processed for dec is ion-makers to provide scientific decision to form the system, based on a data mining technology.The paper, introduces a relevant financial decision support system, after an investigation of XM group, the author, works out a set of the System of improved ID3algorithm solutions depending on data mining, which are applied in the areas with many new ideas, design patterns and technical methods, besides, the paper develops a subsystem of investment decisions based on the above system of data mining,.According to the paper’s research ideas and that system development of intelligent design line,this paper is summarized as follows:(1) Researches on the System. To begin with, architectures of decision support system, the system and intelligent financial decision support system are analyzed and summarized. Combined with XM Group’s demand for smart financial decision system, an intelligent financial decision support system is constructed, based on data mining.(2) Improvement of data mining analysis and related technologies ID3algorithms. First of all, basic knowledge of data mining is introduced, such as the definition of data mining, data mining process. ID3algorithm is found insufficient and inadequate. The paper proposes an improved algorithm, which carries mining-related experiments and shows certain advantages.(3) On the basis of investigation and analysis of the XM Group’s financial decision support system, which is well designed, so is functional modules of the system and the data model of the system.(4) Taking XM Smart Financial Group Decision Support System investment decisions subsystem as an example, improvement of the algorithms is applied to design system and function modules in investment decision-making system, and therefore developing investment analysis, risk analysis and comprehensive evaluation module.
