Since1963, the astronomer Lorenz who found the first the chaotic model innumerical experiments. Chaos obtained the huge development in physics, sociology,biology, chemistry, information and other fields, as the same time, it makes people rethinkof the real world which full of complex nonlinear revolutionary. Synchronizing of chaoticand hyper-chaotic systems became two important part of the controlling theory andapplication research.In this paper are presented several kind of chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems, whichbased on the sliding mode control, adaptive control, as well as back-stepping controltheory, in order to solving the problem of uncertain chaotic systems, time-varying delaysystem, different dimension and different structure system and noise disturbing system.Papers focus on how to solve problems mainly included as following:(1) The issue of synchronizing the fractional order hyper-chaotic systemsBecause the fractional order hyper-chaotic system has better confidentiality, greaterstorage capacity and stronger information processing ability, what’s more, it also has theadvantages of the robustness to achieve communication security than the generally chaoticsystem. So it will be nonlinear controlling theory and application of the most importantresearching direction in the future. In this paper, the unknown parameters time-varyingdelay fractional order hyper-chaotic systems synchronized by using an adaptive slidingmode control, which can make the system faster to achieve synchronization, and make thesystem has strong robustness.(2) The issue of synchronizing the different dimension and different structurehyper-chaotic system In nature, there exists many different hyper-chaotic systemssynchronization between each other, especially in the biological system and the socialsciences. The order of different chaotic systems, means that the system state variables hasstrict different evolve over time. This article of the unknown parameters of differentdimension with the mismatched hyper-chaotic system, by using an adaptive robust control,which can solve the problem of the unknown parameters which makes the system toachieve the sense of Lyapunov stability, and synchronization.(3) The issue of synchronizing the hyper-chaotic system with noise disturbanceproblem In the practical application of the secret technology, there are two mainproblems need to be considered: noise and channel distortion. In the process of actual transmission, hyper-chaotic signal is inevitable by all kinds of noise interference. It adoptsadaptive robust control to eliminate the outside existing interference for the hyper-chaossystem, so as to achieving synchronization.We present the hyper-chaotic system, fractional hyper-chaotic system and differentdimension and different structures hyper-chaotic systems which have good dynamics,while research of Human biomedical, applied biomedical signal, encryptedcommunications science, astronomy, climate, and the economics stock market provided aforeshadowing.
