The optimal tracking control problem is the combination of the optimal controltheory and the tracking control theory. The research on optimal output tracking anddisturbance suppression of control system plays on important role in the field ofocean exploration, aerospace development, industrial control. Currently, the optimaloutput tracking problems has achieved relatively abundant accomplishment.However, the actual control systems tend to be affected by various externaldisturbance signals, resulting in the deterioration of the performance, and evenundermine the stability of the system. Nowadays, the research on output trackingand disturbance rejection is mainly based on the state feedback control and staticoutput feedback control. However, the research based on the compound control anddynamic compensation control is relatively rare, which has very importanttheoretical and practical research value. Therefore, this thesis designs the optimalcompound feedback control law and the optimal output tracking control law of thedisturbed linear control system, and compares their control effects. The maincontents of this thesis are summarized as follows:1. The application background and research significance of the subject aredescribed. The development of the optimal control theory is reviewed. The researchstatus of the output tracking control is introduced. The basic theory of the linearquadratic optimal control, the optimal output tracking control and the optimaldisturbance rejection is described.2. The optimal output tracking problem of the disturbed linear control systembased on compound control law is discussed. We obtain the optimal output trackingcontrol law based on compound control which minimizes the finite time domainand infinite time domain performance index by applying the principle of minimalvalue and canonical equation. Then we construct the order-reduced observer of theexternal disturbance and desired output signals which makes the optimal outputtracking control law based on compound control easy to implement physically.3. The optimal output tracking problem of the disturbed linear control systembased on dynamic compensation control law is discussed. We can transform theoptimal output tracking control problem of the disturbed linear system into thestandard linear quadratic control problem of the augmented linear control system bycombining the original linear time-invariant system, the external disturbancesystem and the reference output control system. We can solve the problem of optimal output tracking control based on dynamic compensation control by addingthe dynamic compensator.4. The simulation block diagrams of the optimal output tracking control lawsbased on state feedback, compound control and dynamic compensation control arebuilt. We have a comparison among the three optimal output tracking control lawsby observing the simulation results. In the end we can draw a conclusion that theoptimal output tracking control law based on dynamic compensation has the bestcontrol effect in the optimal output tracking control problems.
