Wireless multi-hop networks break the restriction of transmission distanceby multi-hop transmission. In such networks, nodes can join or leave thenetworks without permission or control from any central nodes or infrastructure, which make the networks flexible to construct and to manage, easy to extend anddifficult to destroy. Wireless multi-hop networks help us construct communica-tion network promptly in any environment.Although wireless multi-hop network possesses numerous advantages andbright application prospect, its character also brings difficulty and challenge totransmission and application on the network. On one hand, wireless multi-hopnetworks transfer message in the open air. The complicated transfer environmentrestricts connectivity of network fundamentally, which has been a big challengeto the networks. On the other hand, mobility of nodes makes link unstable so thattopology of networks change frequently. To transfer data stably in such complexenvironment, connectivity, stability and transfer capacity of wireless link areanalyzed. Base on the analyzed result of wireless link character, multi-hopnetwork model is constructed to support route protocol design in dynamictransmission environment.Space loss field is used to simulate shadow fading in real world, which helpsto build the analytical platform of propagation loss environment. Based on therelation between propagation loss and link construction, link connectivity isobserved and network adjoin matrix which will be used to analysis of linkstability and link transmit capacity is constructed. After that, effect of mobilitymodel on link connectivity stability is considered by semi-Markov mobilitymodel. Link residual time is simulated based on network connectivity and nodemobility model. At last, an evaluate model of link transmit capacity is proposedbased on the distribution of link residual lifetime and distribution of data transmittime to evaluate link transmit performance in multi-hop network.Simulation results show that network adjoin matrix can describe networkconnectivity in transfer environment effectively and that analysis based on thematrix is proper. Additionally, link residual lifetime appears to exponentialdistribution with expectancy approximately equal to the ratio of node transmitrange to node average speed. Lastly, the assessed values of path transmitperformance show a linear relationship with network transfer success rate, whichcan declare that the assess model can estimate link transmit performance in test scene with different speed and route protocols properly.
