Network bandwidth is swallowed wantonly by the traffic that is generated byP2P applications, that directly increasing the pressure on the management of thenetwork operator. As the same time, as the people that use Android-based mobliedevices become increasingly large, the traffic problem appears, especially P2Papplications on Android phones because they consume the traffic larely when theyupload while downloading. Therefore, research on P2P application taffic controllingin Android system become a very important issue in today’s Internet, especially themobile Internet, normal and healthy development of mobile terminal equipment isparticularly important.Work done in this paper is preliminary work of the subject about research andimplementation of P2P application traffic monitoring in Android system: selectspecific P2P application, capture and analyze data packets generated by theappliacation when it is used, study the traffic controlling of P2P application, and thenanalysing the possibilities of separating the control traffic and data traffic of the P2Papplication in Android system.This paper describes the related content and tools of P2P and Android system.Then introduce the building methods of a universal mobile packet captureenvironment in order to capture the data packets in Android system better. Thendesign a Android packet capture tool based on TcpDump which is named DroidCapbased on the environment because the environment is poor controllability on theactual capture operation, and design a general Android packet capture experimentproject based on DroidCap.Select FengXing videos Android client for studying and use the results bycapturing and analyze packets to reset the rules of DroidWall, realize the separatingthe control traffic and data traffic of tFengXing videos Android client and improve theDroidWall to control better.
