Calculating the volume of blood clots and judging accurately location of bloodclots in traumatic brain injury patient can provide the scientific basis for the theclinical diagnosis and the plan of surgery of brain injury.The3D reconstruction andSegmentation of blood clots in the image is the important method to solve thisproblem, Therefore, the study on image segmentation and image3D reconstructionhas important clinical significanceIn order to accurately obtain the volume and location of blood clot, this papercarries on the following research with CT image of frontal lobe damage given byQuanzhou hospital:(1) According to the requirement of3D reconstruction for the inter-layer resolution,the paper proposes tomographic image interpolation based on Bezier curve, itincreases inter-layer resolution and improves3D reconstruction’s accuracy. Finally,the simulation between the interpolation based on Bezier and the linear interpolationmethod shows that the accuracy of the interpolation based on Bezier.(2) In order to extract the blood clots region and achieve accurately calculation ofthe clot’s area, Raising the method based on the Region Growing and improved FCMfuzzy clustering for the Intracranial Hemorrhage CT image’s segmentation after theanalysis about the accuracy of gore’s segmentation affects the calculation of clotarea.Finally, Comparing Thresholding, standard FCM fuzzy clustering and theimproved FCM fuzzy clustering to illustrate that the accuracy of the improved FCMfuzzy clustering algorithm on segmentation.(3) In order to judge the position of a blood clot in the brain,the paper proposes MCthree-dimensional reconstruction method based on segmentation after the depthanalysis of surface rendering and volume rendering. It combines the Thresholding,Region Growing and improved FCM fuzzy clustering method with the MarchingCubes for3D reconstruction for blood clots and other organizations and judges thelocation of blood clot with reconstruction renderings.(4) According to the division of Frontal’s function to decompose the clot and calculate the volume of the clot and various parts of the clot based on the calculationof clot area. Finally, it obtaines three-dimensional’s image of various parts of the clotby three-dimensional reconstruction.(5) Using MATLAB GUI to design the3D visualization system of craniocerebralinjury based on the study about segmentation and3D reconstruction of image.
