With the rapid development of social economy and the constantly rising living standard of the public, wallpaper would more and more likely to be used as interior decoration materials. Compared to previous coating, plank, the wallpaper has unique advantages: economy, environmental protection, convenience, wide usage, easy for maintenance, etc. Today, with the improvement of people’s lifestyle, as a kind of environment decoration materials, wallpaper brings us a good visual effect in many places:not only in entertainment space, but also office space, family paper, etc. The increasing demand of wallpaper brings to the increase of equipment; with the improvement of people’s life quality, wallpaper’s quality should be better and better, so the automation level of wallpaper equipment should be constantly improved. Uneven printing thickness (especially in foaming wallpaper) result in that when decorating, wallpaper joining together is obvious unevenness, which would affect beauty. Therefore printing coating thickness is one of the important indexes of wallpaper quality, the accurate measure of wallpaper printing coating thickness has become an integral part of the wallpaper production. And people used to apply contacted measures of thickness detection--no doubt it will have a great effect on the quality of the products. Also have non-contact ray inspection--but radiation and high price. Nowadays, in order to reform the production line of wallpaper, researchers pay more and more attention on examination of high precision online detection technology. The detection technology level directly affects the efficiency of the production line and the degree of automation. According to the current situation, this paper puts forward a kind of non-contact on-line detection system, the precise thickness online detection problem is deeply studied.According to the production process of wallpaper, the system introduce wallpaper printing coating thickness detection by classifying method:1.the original paper printing paste (PVC) coating thickness detection2.printed pattern coating thickness detection3.foamed texture coating thickness detection, hardware and software complete by modular design. The laser sensor complete signal acquisition, because the sensor output signal is weak and negative interference, it need to pass a series of filter and Amplifier, signal transform into the needed signal, the processed signals put into the processor after A/D conversion. The processor use TI company produces the TMS320F2812DSP. It is sent to the touch screen to display after acquisition signal is operated in the processor.At present, the system basically realized the hardware design and debugging as well as the main software function modules. It has achieved the expected goal by operating normally in the wallpaper production line. Through the study, we have a deeper understanding in the field of the wallpaper production equipment detection technology in our country.
