Pulsed fiber lasers have a wide range of applications in the field of laser processing,laser manufacturing, radar ranging etc. due to its high peak power and controllabletemporal character. In order to break off the technology blockage from foreign countries,it is necessary to develop the high power pulsed fiber lasers based on homemadecomponents. In this dissertation, we investigate on the methods of the generation ofpulsed fiber laser, using domestic components, design the pulsed fiber laser scheme fordifferent generation mechanism, achieve the high power pulsed fiber laser with differenttemporal properties. The main contents are as follows:1、Select Q-switched、mode-locking and external cavity intensity modulationtechniques to generate the pulsed fiber laser, make use of the homemade componentsand implement three types of fiber lasers with different generation method. In the fiberlaser by active acousto-optic Q-switched acquire the high peak power pulse at therepetition of10kHz and pulse width of85ns. Implement the mode-locking operationthrough the phase modulation of electric-optical crystalloid for the pulse at pulse widthof about400ps. By the external cavity intensity modulation of a continuous laser, weachieve the narrow line-width pulse fiber laser which has the tunable pulse width at therepetition from1kHz to10MHz.2、Utilizing the above accomplished fiber laser as the seed laser, we design highpower pulsed fiber amplifier based on homemade components in master oscillatorpower amplification configuration. In the Q-switched amplifier, we achieve the singlepulse energy of6mJ at the repetition of10kHz and pulse width of157ns. In themode-locking amplifier, we obtain the average power of196.5W at the repetition21.1MHz and pulse width of about589ps. In the external cavity intensity modulationfiber amplifier, we obtain the peak power of32.5kW at the repetition of100kHz andpulse width of15.5ns. In the domain of all-fiberized configuration pulsed fiber laserbased on domestic components, the level of our experimental result keep ahead in ourcountry. These works provide a reference for the development of domestic high powerpulsed fiber lasers.
