Smoke the simulation in computer graphics, video games, film and televisionproduction and military aspects and so on has a broad prospect, graphics workers want fastrealistic smoke simulation effect.Complex physical equation based on the physical modelof smoke simulation, to solve the calculation time consuming;And because its uniquecomplicated variety of smoke itself, research has certain challenging.So in order toimprove the smoke simulation authenticity and enhance the real time smoke simulation,this paper made a thorough experimental study.First, in terms of improving smoke simulate realistic, smoke simulate details of thefluid can effectively improve the simulation authenticity.This article improves the classicalNavier-Stokes equations of fluid mechanics model, on the external force added in thethermal buoyancy and vortex, setting the proper force value, without any increase in theamount of calculation, by joining the smoke has the details of the features to make smokeappear more realistic.Secondly, in terms of smoke simulation to improve real-time performance, this paperadopted reverse tracking method is proposed, by calculating the unit grid within the scopeof all the target particles, reverse to track the target particle particle path the shortestlength of grid, all this path as the particle’s path in the unit grid, in order to reduce theamount of calculation.To effectively improve the disadvantages of numerical consumptioncaused by repeated calculation, make the effect of the smoke can real-time out of reality.Finally, this paper uses the tool of VC++and OpenGL graphics interface designsmoke simulation system on the Windows platform, to improve the method, after thesmoke simulation is carried out on the realistic and real-time effective experimentalverification.Successfully achieve the fast real smoke simulation.
