With the continuous development of white LED lighting technology, its advantageshave attracted more and more attention. With low power consumption, a long life, noradiation to environment, white LED lighting also has good modulation performance, highresponse sensitivity, and good confidentiality. When used as illumination, the white LEDlighting can also modulate the signal to the LED visible light to transmit, achieving a newkind of visible indoor wireless sensor network communication. The network systemallows the information exchange between the intelligent home appliances and the indoorcurrent Internet which is suitable to build a new generation of smart home systems.According to the paper, the first step is to study the characteristics of visible lightcommunication and deeply analyze the feasibility of indoor visible light wireless sensornetwork’s applications on an intelligent home appliance. Systems in both hardware andsoftware have been designed.Secondly, the hardware system expansion modules can be designed after the study ofthe characteristics of the chip CC430. The more important design is a white LED drivingcircuit and a modulation demodulation signal amplification circuit, which deeply analyzethe characteristics of the white LED lighting source and the performance of the visiblelight detector, building a visible light communication system based on CC430.Again, considering the network nodes’ low power of interior visible lighting, it ispresented to translate the Contiki operating system to CC430hardware system. Design asoftware program processes, write a program of related transplant procedures, and finallyverify the feasibility of transplantation through system testing.Finally, complete PPM code modulation and demodulation of visible signal, analyzePPM modulation format based on the hardware system. Propose the solution which usesCC430to modulate and demodulate the visible light system. Through indoor visible lightcommunication systems, data can be collected, transmitted, data bit error rate tested andstudied deeply.
