With the development of electronic technology, electronic war has became animportant component of modern war. Various kinds of electronic interference signalsreleased by the enemy will disrupt our radar badly. Thus, the ability to accurately identifythe electromagnetic interference signals present in the space become the determination ofthe warfare.In the background of the above, this paper is based on our research group’s work inradar signal processing these years. In this paper, current common active radar jamming isadopted as the object of the research, combined with the requirements of the project, toanalyze the identification of radar active jamming signals.Targeting at the recognition algorithm of radar active jamming and the achievement ofactive radar jamming signal recognition method, this paper introduces an analysis of radaractive jamming signal and its characteristics. Then the corresponding identificationmethods are designed, and a common active radar jamming signal identification process isproposed. The detail contents are as following:1) For the common type of suppressing interference, the characteristics such as signaltime length and its frequency distribution are adopted, combined with the parameters ofthe radar echo signal, to identify the signal.2) For the common type of deception interference, the characteristics such as thevariation of single-cycle pulse describe words and multi-cycle radiation describe words areadopted, combined with the working states of radar and the parameters of echo signal, toidentify the signal.3) For the common type of radar active jamming signal, the digital channel processingtechnology is used to achieve the signal characteristics and its pulse describe words. Afterall, a common recognition process of radar active jamming signals based on DSP isdesigned.Finally, the effectiveness of the radar active jamming signal recognition method andthe correctness and feasibility of the common recognition process of radar active jammingsignals based on DSP is verified by simulation.
