The application of advanced control technology in process control is rising.Itmakes the process control system becoming more and more complex,and makes thenumber of system faults types increasing. To some industrial processes, the fault ofsystem can’t be repaired,or the cost of the repair is extremely expensive. If theworking state of system can be controlled,or predicting the reliability of system,timely change related fault link devices to avoid failure, it can avoid economic losscaused by the system failure.Therefore, the prediction of system reliability is veryimportant to system maintenance.Generally,the fault of industrial process control system can be divided into twocategories.They are sudden fault system and slow fault system.The sudden fault refersto the fault of system,which is caused by external force, unpredictable instant fault,strong randomness, generally no symptoms, and generally do not consider itsreliability. Slow fault refers to the system due to its own equipment wear orcomponents ageing delay fault, the system work normally when the fault is notobvious, thus can be part of the failure of the system is easy to predict the real-timemonitoring system may be down. This paper aims at this kind of failure to discuss.In this article,there are four chapters about the system reliability predictionproblems.In the first chapter,it makes a brief introduction of system reliabilityprediction.The research status is given in this paper, and it also contain the maincontent of the study of system reliability prediction. Given in chapter2, the method ofsystem reliability index is obtained by the system monitor data.Two methods aregiven in this paper, according to different data using different methods to get thesystem reliability index.In Chapter3,it puts forward the forecasting method based onBAR model, specific prediction scheme is given in this chapter.Last chapter,itproposed the method is based on the failure data of TE process simulation, and finallyget the system reliability prediction curve.In conclusion, this article presents an fault prediction method for industrialprocess control system,which contain slow fault.The reliability can be linked to thefault diagnosis in the reliability prediction through this paper.Some theory which canbe used for fault diagnosis method is applied to the field of system reliabilityprediction.
