With the rapid development and popularization of Internet, especially theexplosive growth of the mobile Internet in the recent years, content deliverynetworks are facing with new challenges. The traditional CDNs aim to speed upuser access and improve the user experience by deploying multiple proxy cachingservers over the whole Internet. However, the CSP-CDN is independent with theISP, which means both the server node selection and the process of requestrouting cannot use the topology information to achieve the best goals. The cross-border traffic between ISPs means cost, and eventually normal users will coverthese costs. This article proposes a server node deployment mechanism based A-Star algorithm to reduce the traffic both inter-ISP and intra-ISP, and improve userexperience.First, we analyze ISP traffic and divide the router node into edge node, forward node and transit node based on their location in the topology. Transitnodes are naturally proxy cache nodes. Edge nodes are difficult to deploy andmaintain. So the problem become selecting no man than a specified number ofservers to deploy content node in the forward nodes. The deploy mechanism isbased on A-Star algorithm. We design a distributed index structure named dl-RTCBF and synchronization mechanisms to enhance the content routingperformance by improving the environment under the CDN, so the contentservers can corporate with others both in locating resource and routing request. Finally, we design and implement content delivery system for ISP, andconducted a simulation experiment, by comparison with other cache system. Thedeploy mechanism has a good performance, and the dl-RTCBF has a betterperformance than other cache system both in reducing the traffic and improvingthe cache hit rate.
