With the improvement of people’s standard of living and the popularization ofsmart devices, the fixed-line telephone equipments develop in the directions ofmicromation and intelligence. Android system is especially promising in theintelligent systems market due to its open-source platform and perfect applicationframework. Multimedia fixed telephone field is one of the main developing directionsof the Android system. Therefore, the Android daily softwares of the intelligent fixedtelephone come into being. The development of application software is the importantpart of the terminal software development in the fixed telephone multimedia platform.In this dissertation, the hardware platform has been built based on the RealV210development board, which is provided by Guangzhou Hua Tian Zheng TechnologyCo., Ltd. The design of application software module in smart fixed-telephone hasbeen implemented by the2.3.1version of the Android operating system.Firstly, paper analyzes the system architecture of the Android platform layer. Bya brief overview of the four components of the application layer, we use the MVCpattern to design the application software module. Secondly, paper describes thehardware platform performance and establishes the Android platform developmentenvironment, and then proposes the six design criterias and requirements of theapplication software module. This module is divided into: calendar, notepad,e-reading, weather, electronic dictionary, quick dialing. At last, considering the needsof the RealV210development board and the dissertation, the detailed functionalinterface design and implementation of this module have been completed. Thesesoftwares are debugged and verified in the Android development tools, and then theyare written in the RealV210development board to achieve the corresponding UIfunction interface. The results show that the operation of softwares achieves theexpected results and basically realizes various functions. This module has a certaincompatibility and expandability. The design of this module builds a solid fundamentfor the design and development of the terminal software in the multimediafixed-telephone platform.
