Clutter suppression is an important problem in radar signal processing. Its core content isthe design of clutter suppression method, as well as the engineering implementation of it.Aiming at the drawback of real-time performance in current domestic clutter suppressionengineering, the author proposes a real-time solution of the filter parameters in cluttersuppression process using Jacobi method.A two order cascade filter is based on one medium range warning radar signal processorhas been used in clutter suppression to process the radar echo signal compressed by impulse.Each filter uses structuring eigenvector method of adaptive moving target displaying, and theparameters of filter are calculated by Jacobi method in real time. Compared with the originaltable look-up method, this method is obviously advanced. In this paper, the author firstlyintroduces the current clutter suppression methods, then, simulates the radar echo signal andthe performance of clutter suppression method processed above using MATLAB andimplements it in Visual DSP++5.0platform, and finally, tests and verifies it using TigerSHARC ADSP-TS201chip produced by ADI corporation. The results show that using Jacobimethod to calculate filter parameters can not only increase the performance of cluttersuppression, but satisfy the real-time performance as well.
