Then, based on the industrialstandard of electronic cash register, this paper has chosen LPC17XX series single chip andFPGA as the hardware design platform of electronic cash register; the CoOS RTOS(real-time operating system) and GUI graphics library as the software core, and finished theoverall concept design of electronic cash register. Next, it focus on hardware and software ofelectronic cash register, and specifically analyzed each module’s function and role. Finally,combined with the practice, the debugging and running of the electronic cash register havebeen done. As the result shows, the electronic cash register designed in this paper, no matteron the functions, stabilities or the embodiment feeling, has been greatly improved comparedto the old generation of the electronic cash register.
