Design And Implementation Of Discuz Inner-website Full-text Retrieval Based On Lucene

Computer technology and Internet have greatly enriched the enterpriseinformation electronically to be quickly shared and stored, which make people couldwork and entertain widely. To make Internet integrated into daily life, businesscompanies and research institutes provide varieties of colorful virtual and onlineservices, resulting in explosion of Internet information. It has been a major issue toquickly query information in computer science and has generated a series of searchengine providers.For the developing small or medium size websites, professional inner-websiteretrieval service could not be spread for the sake of technology difference. On theother side, subject to cost, open source website codes, with original informationretrieval methods, are widely adopted. Comparing with full-text information retrieval,the original information retrieval methods get small querying arrange and lowprecision.In this case, the thesis takes Lucene and Discuz as the research platform, aims atintegrating full-text into inner-website information retrieval and providing simple andeasy-to-use full-text retrieval service to Discuz websites. We make attempts toimprove real-time performance, aiming at generating a lightweight, professional andrapid-response retrieval tool for Discuz.Firstly, the paper describes information retrieval related technologies and itssubdivisions and developments along with the current inner-website informationretrieval ways of Discuz and their advantages and disadvantages. Based on this, thestructures and processes of Lucene and Chinese information retrieval features will beanalyzed. The near real-time retrieval will be one of the key points in this paper.Finally, I use java and php to program a retrieval system for Discuz based on Lucene,and contrastively analysis the results.
