In recent years, SIP-based VoIP has been developing fast and become widelyabailable. However, the tracking and supervision of VoIP have lagged behind. As a result,VoIP has turned into a new medium of criminals due to its concealment. The traditionaltelephone traceback techniques cannot be directly employed in tracking problem of VoIP.As the introduction of the Internet, the IP traceback technology has become a way to solvethe above problem. In view of the above problems, we present a new complete solution ofthe tracking model of VoIP in this paper. Our main works are summarized as follows.Firstly, the main contributions, advantages, and drawbacks of the traditional IP-sidetracking techniques are summarized here in detail. Furthermore, we finally discuss theapplication scenarios of these methods by the analysis results of theories and experiments.The above mentioned works is service from theory and technology for the proposedframework of VoIP tracking system.Secondly, the framework of the VoIP traceback system is proposed. It is devided intoIP-side tracking module and telecommunication tracking module. This paper put forwardthe data packet interception strategy, which Combined with the VoIP trackingcharacteristics, and analyzes the traditional IP traceback technology in the VoIP tracebackproblem, and summarizes the related factors of VoIP traceback problems, and analyzes thelocation problem.Moreover, on account of the strict limit of quantization of data packet and theuniqueness of the source host tracked here, we put forward a Voice Frequency MultipleProbabilistic Packet Marking algorithm. Through applying the Global MaximumInformation Packet Tagging method, we can extract more information from the samenumber of marked packets. At the same time, the approaches of differential marking anddifferential weight of route are employed to integrate the incomplete paths. The optimalparameters are set to make the algorithm suitable for VoIP traceback. The SKY registrationcenter, which is used to assist the analysis processing, is proposed, in order to extract andanalyse the information from signal packets.Finally, we analyze the architecture of the system and demonstrate the key modules. Through example analysis, the traceback process is shown clearly. Our tracking system isdemonstrated a high effectiveness by a large number of repeated tests.
