Application Research On Campus Card System Based On RFID Technology

With development of information technology, its application in CampusManagement has drawn more attention. Recently, domestic Campus Card System isjust a replacement of cash, but its importance in ID certification has not been fullyvalued. Based on present research situation, this paper aims at carrying out thefollowing researching sections on Campus Card System based on Radio FrequencyIdentification（RFID）.A centralization of basic staff and students’ information is realized byimplementing Service-Oriented Architecture（SOA）. In Campus Card System, theinformation mentioned above is integrated; and specific management systems such aslibrary, academic administration as well as campus clinic can obtain the informationthrough SOA technology, which ensures information consistency in construction ofdigital campus and decreases costs in maintenance.A concept that information security of Campus Card can be improved byimplementing the Bidirectional Authentication Mechanism is presented. The CampusCard System introduced in this paper achieved validity check of Readers throughBidirectional Authentication technology in Servers as well Card Readers, preventedillegal Reader from obtaining information so that card information security can beprotected.This paper firstly demonstrates research background and present situation ofCampus Card System, introducing Campus Card System based on RFID, analyzing itssystem construction, function requirements and database administration, illustratinginformation control and the data call between subsystems, making a proposal thatusing SOA technology to realize data exchange between subsystems and InformationIntegration Platform, therefore, offering effective solution to the problems caused byinefficient exchange between different developing platforms and different types ofdata; and finally ensuring information security embraced in Campus Card System.The system, guided by intellectual managing technology as well as advancedadministrative concepts, focuses on providing conveniences for students, achievingfull-scale in formalization in higher colleges and improving administration efficiencyby taking advantages of information technology.
