With the universality of the network and the development of virtual reality,the techniqueof domestic and international garment CAD is gradually maturing. So people demand morecomfortable and suitable to the garment. Meanwhile three-dimentional garment has beenrequired to the market. It makes three-dimensional garment trend to be stereoscopic,intelligent, integrated. Three-dimentional garment has been concerned by many scholars. AndResearch on the surface reconstruction of three-dimensional human body is the basic of thethree-dimensional garment. This paper describles the surface reconstruction of thethree-dimensional human body.Research on the surface reconstruction of three-dimensional human body begins in the1970s.It is the hot content of the computer graphics.It has a very wide range of applications,such as aviation and aerospace, medical field ang garment. Currentlt, there are fourreconstruction ways: line modeling, entity modeling, surface modeling and based on thephysical modeling.Different application has different reconstruction demand and is applied todifferent ways.The slice images of Visualization Human Body Data Set have a widespread applicationin medical science. This paper uses this data set which is the data source to reconstruct thesurface of huan body.Firstly, the data of the human body surface is obtained by the way whichthe body slice is been processed.Due to the special enviroment of the medical field,the sliceimage contains a lot of redudant information,we need to process it. We can use photoshop toremove useless information, then binarization processing and image denoising and extractionand so on.After these steps, we can get the complete continual slice outline vertexes. In orderto reduce the complexity of the three-dimensional reconstruction phase, this paper presentsthe data selection algorithm based on string value, and the filtered data points form thecontour line which remains the original shape.The three-dimensional reconstruction based on the contour line is filled with trianglesbetween adaject contour lines, then the surface is formed. Firstly, the way of thethree-dimension shape reconstruct is introduced between a convex contour and non-convexcontour. At the same time, due to the characteristics of human body structure, there are singlecontour line and multial contour lines after the contour extraction. In the triangular mesh,we will encounter branch and corresponding. This paper summarizes the existing researchresults and the algorithm. In the foundation of them, the improved shortest contour algorithmis proposed. The key of the algorithm is to find the optimal match point. For thecorresponding problem, we propose a simple way to determine the corresponding relation .
