The Research Of The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The Traditional Wushu Competition In Beijing

The Beijing traditional Wushu competition as a platform provides the opportunity of communication for folk martial arts and promotes the development of martial arts and its popularization. It will push The National Fit-keeping Program forward as well. For better development of the Beijing traditional Wushu competition, the auther resorts to literature consultation, consultation with experts, survey method, data statistics and logical analysis method, to research and analyse the status of the Beijing traditional Wushu competition. The result shows that except for Taiji quan, the all the others in Beijing traditional Wushu competition are going down. The scale of competition is small, the teams and athletes are fewer year by year and the form is singularity. The result shows:the competition is lack of support and attention from government and sponsors, different Wushu groups fight with each other. Some factors, the competition rules and the competition system are imperfectness, the judge’s level is not high impact the development of the competition. Suggestions as follows:the Government of traditional Wushu the implementation of preferential policies, cultivating judge’s level, promoting the reform of competition system, accelerating Wushu enter into the community, school and government organs.
