Research On Current Situation And Countermeasures Of College Students’ Leisure Moral Education Under The Background Of Mass Culture

Mass culture is a kind of consumer culture based on the mass media. With the rapid development of information science and technology, mass culture rise rapidly in the contemporary China, and create a strong influence and penetration in the social life. As a new cultural force, mass culture, loved and sought after by college students with the characteristics of diversity, openness, entertainment and epidemic, has been quickly occupied the campus, and fully penetrate the leisure life of college students as a part of the lifestyles of contemporary college students. In the context of mass culture, inherent intrinsic demand and psychological characteristics of college students agrees with the free,equal and interactive space created by mass culture, therefore college students become the main consumer of mass culture, and receive the most huge value radiation of mass culture.On the one hand, mass culture enriches the leisure life, broadens the horizons, and expands the communication space of the college students. On the other hand, with some bad information and false ideas, mass culture inevitably has a negative impact on college students’ way of thinking, lifestyles even value orientation, such as ideals and beliefs indifference, leisure values fuzziness, misbehaviors in internet ethics and leisure behavior disorder. Leisure is an important part of college life, provide development space for the healthy growth of college students, but unhealthy and disharmony leisure problems will directly affect the students’ free, comprehensive and healthy development. So leisure needs moral guidance. For a long time, the leisure moral education has not been incorporated into the system of moral education in universities, which has influenced the effectiveness of moral education in universities. Therefore, in the context of mass culture, with mass media platform to strengthen college students’ moral education for leisure, to realize the positive interaction between mass culture and college students’ moral education for leisure, is the powerful guarantee against the negative impact of mass culture on college students, which is of important practical significance to promote moral education in universities to keep pace with the times and to enhance the effectiveness of moral education in universities.Under the background of mass culture, this paper reviews the research status of domestic and foreign moral education for leisure, draws on correlative theories of moral education, psychology and communication involved with the moral education of college students’ leisure, illustrates the mass culture influence on college students and the characteristics and value of college students’ moral education for leisure, empirically studies the present situation of the leisure moral education of college students in Shanxi,analyzes the influence factors of the leisure moral education of college students in Shanxion the basis of the present situation, and puts forward the concrete countermeasures to improve the present situation of leisure moral education of college students in Shanxi.This paper is divided into seven parts:The first part is the introduction. It explains the research background, significance,research status of domestic and foreign moral education for leisure, research content,research methods and innovation points.The second part is the theoretical support of the research. Theoretical directions include the comprehensive development of human Marx’s theory, Mao Zedong’s view on moral education of teenagers, etc. Theory references include implicit curriculum theory of moral education, Dewey’s theory of "education is life", Tao Xingzhi’s theory of "life is education", subconscious theory and implicit learning theory of psychology, mass communication audience theory and moderate effect theory of communication.The third part is the influence of mass culture on college students. First of all, the connotation and characteristics of mass culture is expounded. Then, the influence mechanism and dual influence of mass culture on college students is analyzed. Finally, the development trend of moral education in universities is expounded under the background of mass culture.The fourth part is an overview of college students’ leisure moral education in the context of mass culture. First, the related concepts are defined, including leisure and college students’ leisure, leisure moral education and college students’ leisure moral education. Then the characteristics and value of college students’ leisure moral education are pointed out under the background of mass culture.The fifth part is the analysis of the results of the questionnaire survey. Under the background of mass culture, studying the development of the leisure moral education of the five universities in Shanxi, the current situation, problems and causes of leisure moral education of college students in Shanxi are analyzed.The sixth part puts forward the mass media platform, school and individual strategies to improve the current situation of leisure moral education of college students in Shanxi,and we hope to realize the benign interaction of mass culture and college students’ leisure moral education.The seventh part is the conclusion and prospect.
