| “Love and Marriage valuesâ€, a general term combining the value of love and that of marriage, refers to people’s basic understanding and subjective attitude towards love and marriage problems. It not only plays an important role in people’s outlook on life and world, but also concerns whether the sweet love, harmonious family as well as stable society can be gained or not. The study on Love and Marriage values of college students in the Generation after 1990 s will provide theoretical basis for scientific forecast on the generation’S love and marriage values, Otherwise,it will supply a good example to next guidance work of colleges and social sectors.Today we’re in social transitional period, however it’s in the special time that some factors, like rapid economic development, drastic change in social and family structure, collision between traditional culture and modern culture, have an influence on the formation and development of “values on Love and Marriage. Living in such an environment, college students in the generation after 1990 s have their own opinion about this topic. Comparing female colleges students’ opinion on love and marriage values with male college students’ ones, we find it that the former focuses on economic capability and develop potential, however the latter pay more attention to figure and appearance of the female and is more reasonable in love disappointment. Besides, the male more concerns virginity in terms of sexual morality.Through questionnaire survey and individual interview, I think low individual quality, changed family structure, no right guidance due to parents’ ignorance and lack of relative education in college are lead to their unmarried marriage motivation; choose love ideal; marriage utilitarian; dilute the sexual morality and issues marriage view. These issues need to be "after 90" individuals, schools and society to work together to solve. Firstly, our society should fully take advantage of mass media to guide college students’ love and marriage values; secondly, colleges should open up a series of courses to create a good campus environment; thirdly, college students themselves should lift moral quality so as to set a good foundation to handle love and marriage problems. |
