In elementary mathematics, some typical mathematical thinking methods, such as algebraic method for element method(variable), inductive method, analogy method,combination method and so on. Among them, the combination is "geometry and Algebra" perfect unity. The geometric method has advantages of intuitive, but the error of "inevitable"; algebraic method is accurate, but the abstract "is not easy to understand." if these two aspects are unified, each take it long, it can accurately describe, said, discuss and solve problems, and can achieve the image understanding,suggest that the memory effect of the unified geometry and. "Algebra" is not only a way of thinking, but also an important process and methods to solve the problems,learning mathematics content and applied mathematics knowledge to establish the mathematical model. The algebraic thinking and geometric thinking is the main and important secondary mathematics thinking method, and so on To do geometric thinking algebraic thinking tendency of the students is of great significance.Research methods in this paper, the test method of the questionnaire, and interview with the students. First of all, the author access to a wealth of literature, before the research related to the study and finishing, to sort out the problem of middle school mathematics can use number shape combination; secondly through questionnaire method and interview method to investigate the current tendency of pre service mathematics teachers algebraic method and geometric method.Results:(1) pre service teachers encountered algebraic representation of algebraic method biases geometry method to understand questions;(2) preservice teachers to meet the geometry are presented in the form of algebraic method biases algebraic method to understand questions;(3) preservice teachers in the encounter geometry is now geometry method to understand questions tend to geometric method, overall, in the use number shape union to solve that preservice mathematics teachers tend to algebraic method.Are the influencing factors:(1) the number shape union thinking to understand is not thorough;(2) algebraic methods mindset(3) pattern recognition and transformation of thinking difficulties;(4) other factors: not good at thinking,independent development consciousness.Research proposal: suggestions on pre service mathematics teachers,(1) should pay attention to improve their abilities of solving problems;(2) in the teaching process should fully understand the thought of combination of number and shape materials and exercises;(3) in the teaching of mathematical knowledge and mathematical method used must be with math thinking is leading to high school students learning suggestions,(1) the student needs to strengthen the independent,cooperation, and explore ways of learning, pay attention to mathematical formulas and mathematical ideas behind theorem;(2) to develop good habits of moderation and culture of multi solution to one problem ability, choose the optimal thought or method to solve the problem;(3) focusing on the reflection and summary.
