Rural primary school class size is less, it can be called the small-class teaching has certain advantages, in the case of mathematical communication more and more be taken seriously, mathematics exchanges among rural small-class teaching situation is not ideal, according to the reality, the author do this research, hoping to improve the situation. Put forward in this paper, the first chapter is the research question, introduces the research background and significance. The second chapter is through literature reading to knowledge of small-class teaching and mathematics exchanges, classify mathematics exchanges. The third chapter is study design, introduce the research object and research process. The fourth chapter is the thesis of action research, the author of this action research can be divided into five parts, the first is the basic situation investigation of the students’ mathematics communication,basically be to understand the students’ mathematics exchanges before taking action and level of mathematics exchanges, the second part is the implementation of measures to enhance the level of students mathematics communication ability, learn to build atmosphere in the measures included in the import process, choosing the right in the process of new teaching mode, in the process of consolidation, ask "why" and help the students learn more summary this at 4 o ’clock, the third part is the change of the students mathematics communication ability, basically be to see after the implementation of the measures, the fourth part is the comparison before and after the operation,the ability to enhance the level of students mathematics communication measures after is there how to improve students’ mathematics exchanges, and at last the reflection on the implementation of promote students mathematics communication ability, the teaching process of how to enhance the level of the students’ mathematics exchanges.The fifth chapter is the study of this paper is discussed, come to the conclusion, put forward the corresponding suggestion.
