| In 1999, China formally entered the aging society, along with the change of family structure, the transformation of ideas and the social development, the number of China’s urban empty nest families showing rapid upward trend, the empty nester phenomenon highlights along with it, so it is necessary to give enough attention. This they will be in weak, the lack of traditional family form strong support from children, relatives and neighbors, in social work gradually expand to all of the industry environment, enhance the living standards of the empty nest elderly, meet the needs of the empty nest elderly, to enable the elderly to participate in society to realize the self value is imperative.In this paper, Changchun J community for practice carrier, selected objects in the community Empty Nester to focus on understanding and service. Action research method and in-depth interviews with scientific methods such as application, a certain understanding within the jurisdiction of the empty nest elderly in the basic situation and the demand, the survey found that financial condition of the empty nest elderly in the community is generally good, at least can meet daily expenses, but the emergence of life care, poor emotional support is weak, and the sense of belonging to community deletion,helpless and lonely is badly in need of relief problem. The author in view of the problems of the elderly and demand, selected wide coverage, strong team work mode to intervene, to carry out the activities of the group, for the elderly provides a communication platform,strengthen exchanges and interaction between the elderly and enhance the sense of belonging to a group, establish mutual awareness, to tap their own potential, have a rich and colorful life. Finally, hope the in group activities in the process of facing problems and its achievement can woodcarvings, for the working group to the intervention of the empty nest elderly in community practice exploration has made valuable reference. |
