Studies On Existing Questions Concerning Current Belief Education Of Undergraduates And Its Countermeasures

Belief is a specialized spiritual phenomenon for human beings. It plays a significant part both for an individual and the whole society in getting to know and transform the world. Scientific belief will promote the development of the individuals and the society while the unscientific belief will cause adverse effect. Marxism is not only the guiding ideology stipulated by China’s constitution but also a scientific belief tested by practice. Since the current college students are the future builders and successors of the Chinese socialist cause, it is of ultimate significance to guide them to believe in Marxism. However, college Marxism education was affected by various complex factors at home and abroad for the fact that our country is in a critical period for social development and change. Various problems occurred, which hinders college Marxism education. Therefore, study on existing problems and possible causes of current college Marxism education should be treated as an important project of ideological and political education theory research, thus we can come up with effective countermeasures.This paper mainly focuses on the existing problems of current college Marxism education and the possible countermeasures. The author starts with the general theories on belief and its education, elaborating on the necessity of college Marxist belief education. Then through in-depth analysis of the college belief education investigations from four universities in Wuhan province, the paper gets to know the existing problems of college belief education,discovers the causes and finally puts forward countermeasures to improve the current status.
