This paper particularly concerned a special perspective in current general education-the music education in schools for migrant workers’children.With empirical analysis on music education in fourteen such schools in Wenling by field trips to survey current situations and problems there. With the combination of quantitative and qualitative research, it investigated and examined those schools to find problems in educational equality, discipline balance, management capacity of schools, educational resources and legislations,etc, which were further analyzed to explore feasible solutions.The paper is comprised of three sections:Firstly, it explained related conceptions of schools for migrant workers’children, distribution of those schools in Wenling as well as data investigation on music education.Secondly, it comprehensively explored reasons restricting music education in those schools from the perspective of students, teachers, the school and society.Thirdly, it expounded on the lack in education of migrant workers’children in Wenling with reasonable suggestions for solutions. |
