Group Work Intervention In The Interpersonal Communication Difficulties Of The Disabled

The disabled is a part of social members, they should have the equal right to communicate with others and participate in social life like the public. However, they have difficulties in joining in social activities in a normal way because of their own physical or mental defects or others’ different degree rejection.This study is based on maslow’s needs-hierarchy theory and the social support theory. It takes "Dream Park" disabled persons’ life experience project as an example, and the data was collected by questionnaire method, interview and observation in order to learn the disabled’s problems and requirements in interpersonal communication. And the study selects group work method to carry out practical research. By analyzing the process and the evaluation of the group work, the positive effect of it is confirmed, but at the same time, it also has some defects. Some suggestions are put forward to provide some references for the practical study of the interpersonal communication of the disabled in the future.
