| Nowadays, juvenile crime problem in rural area is growing severer. It shows a trend in younger age and gang crimination feature, and keeps growing. This problem seriously affects the social stability. Rural juvenile is a powerful force in the development of rural economy and a practitioner of building a new socialist countryside. Thus, it’s urgent to strengthen the research on the prevention of juvenile crime in rural areas. From the current research on the prevention of rural juvenile delinquency under the theory of Social Support, it is lock of the research of rural Juvenile delinquency prevention. The rural juvenile groups have not been paid enough attention to. This paper argues that the rural juvenile is also vulnerable group. It is need to strengthen social support for rural juvenile from various aspects. The social support is an effective way for the prevention of juvenile delinquency in rural areas. The various functions of social support can not only ensure the rural juvenile to obtain the physiological and psychological satisfaction but also enhance self efficacy in the treatment of rural juvenile and regulate the individual behavior of rural juvenile. It can prevent rural juvenile delinquency. This paper also analyzes the composition of social support network of rural adolescents through social network theory. It shows that social support should be provided by government, society, school, family and peer group.Based on the theory of social support, this paper makes an empirical study on the prevention of juvenile delinquency in rural area. The paper uses the methods of questionnaire survey and in-depth interview to understand the basic situation of rural juvenile groups and find out the rural juvenile social support network is composed of government, community, school, family, and peer group. From a full range of rural youth to look around the status of social support, It shows that the government, the community, the school, the family, the peer group to the rural juvenile social support way and the support effect. Through in-deep interview with the relevant department staff of rural juvenile delinquency prevention can analysis the difficulties and challenges of rural juvenile delinquency prevention. Finally, this paper puts forward the countermeasures to prevent and alleviate the rural juvenile delinquency. The author considers that to establish a strong rural juvenile delinquency prevention support network, need the social support from the government, community, school, family, peer group which work together to strengthen rural juvenile delinquency prevention and reduce rural juvenile delinquency. |
