This paper selects the typical household Wang Fudong’s family of Hebei Province Zunhua Jianming Xipu village as the unit of analysis, the author will describe that how to change the patriarchal system of the Wang’s in the process of transformation from traditional period to modern period, the family, especially about how were the family property right, decision-making right, mating right and representation right controlled and changed by the father. The author wants to analyse the character of patriarchal domination and the structure of transformation about the household power with the changes of the times, and draw a conclusion that the new requirements of the rural governance about the diversified household power.The article considers, at different stages of development in the village of cases, the permission changes of the patriarchal domination are directly related to the level of economic development and the market demand. So the property right, decision-making right, mating right and representation right are illustrated in three historical periods that they are before the 1950s, in the early 1950s to the late 1970s and after the 1980s. The three times are the country’s economic development in three stages with time characters and representation, and that the patriarchal domination showing that core disintegration, center of gravity down, equality of husband and wife, and simple structure of the structure transformation characters.In this paper about the patriarchal domination and change, the article affirms that the diversified household power is beneficial to the development of the society and domestic management. But the diversified household power takes the rural family endowment of tropism and intergenerational relationship’s problems out of the world, making the rural governance puts forward the new challenges and requests.
