Situational teaching can provide rich, vivid learning materials to stimulate student interest in learning, help students to actively explore new knowledge to help students better understand and master the knowledge and facilitate migration and application of knowledge, improve their thinking ability and practical ability. After practice teaching during undergraduate and graduate levels, initially find that part of biology frontline teachers did not reasonably create teaching situation in class, or on the teaching situation is a mere formality, in fact, did not achieve the effect of situational teaching, this reduces the students’ initiative in a certain extent, we can not give full play to the students’ learning potential.Investigate the status of high school biology teachers carrying out teaching through literature, questionnaire, field observation and case analysis, analyze and research the findings, we can recognize that there are many problems in the teaching practice, analyze relevant causes and propose corresponding solutions to these problems.First, investigate high school biology teachers in Wei Hai City by self-made "questionnaires on implementation status and countermeasures of high school biology situational teaching ", then analyze the investigation, we find that the majority of teachers support situational teaching in high school biology, but because of lesson hours and heavy traffic restrictions, situational teaching in everyday teaching use was less frequent, the number of teaching situation was small, the kind of situations, sources of material and presentation are relatively simple. In addition, the status of teachers involved in teaching and research situation is not optimistic, the main reason is insufficient theoretical basis, no time or opportunity. The main factors affecting situational teaching in high school biology are teachers, schools and teaching and research departments, textbooks and subject characteristics, students and so on.Secondly, we can propose appropriate countermeasures from the current situation. For example, to raise awareness of situational teaching, teaching and research departments and schools step up publicity efforts,and create a good research environment to encourage teachers to actively participate in research, improve teacher incentive mechanism, and in high school compulsory three "steady state and the environment" as an example, establish teaching material library context, and design cases of situational teaching.Finally, the conclusions of the study are summarized and to propose further research ideas.
