After entering the 21st Century, with the continuous development of society and improvement of productivity, the science and technology have made rapid progress. As a result, the educational goal to improve the students’mathematics application quality is generally reflected in the outline requirement of teaching in the secondary education of all countries in the world. As an important method to improve the quality of students’mathematics application, the teaching of mathematical modeling is thereby gaining widespread attention all over the world. The practice research on mathematical modeling teaching in the middle school is an important part of research on mathematics education, and is a mathematics education problem which should be tested with practice in the mathematics education reform under the new curriculum concept.According to the new curriculum standards and the specific task of mathematics teaching, combining the students and the existing teaching conditions, and going with the new teaching concept and the requirement of teaching rules and principles, the author carries out a high school classroom teaching experiment of mathematical modeling research and demonstration.This research adopts action research method, based on the author’s own teaching practice, focusing on the new curriculum concept of education. Through combining the theory of education and the practice of mathematics modeling teaching, with specific plans, detailed observation, careful record, a lot of cases about mathematical modeling teaching and students’ learning behavior are accumulated. Under the help of continuous research and teaching in the difficult problems, the author refines, summarizes, and concludes the research results with regularity. The study on mathematical modeling teaching goes through 3 stages which includes teacher as the center, student as the center, and then the interaction between teachers and students as the center. Through the analysis of teaching cases, the study forms the teaching method of mathematical modeling in high school, which is:the teaching method of teachers’lecturing, the teaching method of discussion, and the teaching method of paper reading.Since it is hard to know and easy to do, this article intends to explore and carry on effective method of mathematical modeling through action research and in-depth classroom practice in high school. The study also takes appropriate measures to deal with the high school mathematics problems in the process of modeling teaching. The author hopes it can bring some inspirations and thinking for the teachers and education researchers. |
