Application Study On Chinese Women’s Basketball Offensive Defense In Asian Women Basketball Championships In 2015

In basketball, offense and defense is a basic contradiction, and they are restraint mutually, reinforce mutually. Since basketball initiated, with the offensive and defensive contradiction sharpening, defense has gone through standing defense, negative defense, positive defense, now in the stage of aggressive defense. Aggressive defense is a cooperation way, whose ultimate aims are to break the opponent’s attack and get the ball back and which emphasizes defensive destructiveness and oppressiveness, and attacks actively based on the original defense to give the attackers intense pressure to limit their offense.The purpose of the research is to analyze the use situation of aggressive defense of Chinese Women’s Basketball Team in 2015 FIBA Asia Women’s Championship. The object of the research is the use of aggressive defense of Chinese Women’s Basketball Team by using literature data method, Delphi method, video analysis, mathematical statistics and logical analysis etc... The entry points of the research are the transfer process of ball carriers, receiving ball of no ball players and the defensive effect of the offensive basic cooperation. The essay analyzes ten matches of 2015 FIBA Asia Women’s Championship, including the matches of Group L1 among China’s mainland, Japan,Korea and Chinese Taipei : six group matches, two semi-final matches,one third-place play-off matches and a championship match, and through analyzing the situation of the use of aggressive defense of Chinese Women’s Basketball Team, I draw the following conclusions:(1)there is a certain gap between Chinese Women’s Basketball Team and other Asian teams in aggressive defense skills, and the defensive oppression is not strong which mainly reflects in making not full use of the closing down, blocking off, stealing to interfere the quality of the opponents’ offense and active fighting of the ball not positive enough.(2)the defensive initiative and destructive of Chinese Women’s Basketball Team is not enough reflecting in passing, carrying, shooting, breaking and no-ball-players catch-disturbing not frequently enough. Meanwhile, their stealing aspect is not as good as other strong teams. The reasons lie in many aspects related to the team’s technical style, playing style, the physical figure of the players, physical reserve, the level of technical and tactical skills and mental state.(3)the collective consciousness of collaboration of Chinese Women’s Basketball Team is weak. Faced with the opponent’s attack, the players couldn’t organize effectively an aggressive defense to break the attack so as to get the ball. When breaking through, the speed of their filling in and turning was slow and the result was bad and the use of coordination of defense foundation in filling in, blocking out and trapping etc is weaker than other Asian teams.(4)Chinese Women’s Basketball Team making use of their height advantage, and their reasonably allotted stealing and blocking-out have good results in protecting rebound. Thus, in a way, they guarantee the initiative of ball.
