With the continuous development of the fundamental, the teaching and learning mode has changed. The process of class has changed the situation that the teachers focused on the strong reciting mode. It gradually emphasizes inquiry learning through diversification learning activities to encourage students to find out problems, discuss problems, explore problems and solve problems automatically, so as to help students to construct knowledge and cultivate high level thinking ability. Since 2009, Hong Kong SAR has published four sets of special history textbooks for senior high school under the new curriculum concepts. However, the amount of comparison researches on those four sets of history textbooks in mainland are less. Thus, it is necessary to explore Hong Kong’s history textbooks deeply.In this thesis, the author took the following three parts, pre-class texts’ summaries, illustrations and textbooks’ exercises, as the starting point of this comparative study in yuelu mode and modern mode history textbooks’ auxiliary systems. These three parts are concluded into the respective curriculum standard, as the criterion within the framework. The comparative research was with the reference to the prior research achievements of historical science and educational psychology. In the concrete content, the author at first deconstructed the organization of pre-class texts’ summaries of the two history textbooks’ versions overly, and continued to analysis theories on the basis of the deconstruction. Then, we could conclude the pros and cons of the design of the pre-class texts’ summaries. Secondly, the author analysis the illustrations layout, quantity and quality and literal description in that two version textbooks. It intended to conclude the success and shortage of the design of the illustrations in the different mode of history textbooks. At last, the exercises in the history textbooks were set in the exercise classification mode and exercise evaluation mode, and then analysis their mechanism of exercises and exercises’ designing ideas and previous thoughts, and evaluated their advantages and disadvantages awarding to their respective curriculum standard. After comparing detailedly and analyzing three aspects of the tow versions of senior high school history textbooks, we could obtain clear and profound cognition from that system. Meanwhile, the pros and cons of tow version textbooks’ analysis provided certain useful help for both textbook compilation work and teaching and learning mode promotion work on the basis of analysis.
