Adolescents are having very specific and critical period during junior high schools on psychological personality development. The good social adaptation is absolutely necessary for the bloom of our society and themselves. The unique education in opportunity schools is also a part of Chinese compulsory education system. Therefore, it is much more meaningful that we should engage in the comparative study on adolescent social adaptation of students in both opportunity and normal schools.The aim of this study is to realize the adolescent social adaptation of today’s students in both normal schools and opportunity ones from the following three aspects: the family social economic status(SES), parental rearing styles and personality factors; and to analyze how they will influence on the adolescents of their social adaptation. 352 adolescents are involved in this study, of two junior high schools and another two opportunity schools, whose questionnaires are based on the “EPQ(Junior)”, “EMBU” and “The Questionnaires on adolescents social adaptation” compiled by Chen Jianwen & Huang Xi.The factor analysis respectively is used to comprehend the data in” EMBU” and “The Questionnaires on adolescent social adaptation” due to some opportunity schools adolescents participated in this study. Meanwhile, the hierarchical regression also helps us to determine the variables of adolescent social adaptation of all the participants.The conclusions of this study are as below:(1)There are no differences in adolescent social adaptation between the students in both junior high schools and opportunity ones on the sense of psychological superiority, psychic energy and psychological resilience dimension. However, the adolescents in junior schools have a strong sense of supe riority on interpersonal adaptability dimension than the others.(2)There are close connections between the students in both junior high schools and opportunity ones on their personality characteristics and all the aspects of the adolescent social adaptation.(3)Compared to the mothers’ parenting style, it effected more extensive on the adolescent social adaptation by the fathers’.(4)The adolescent social adaptation could be efficiently forecasted with the help of the personality trait and parental rearing styles to some extent.(5)The differences between the students in both junior high schools and opportunity ones are merely small in the adolescent social adaptation,it explains mainly in the paper 5.6. While it mainly varies with our morality and current legal sense in accordance with today’s policies.
