Sports Cultural Study Of Independent Colleges In Anhui Province Based On Communications

since the national expansion of higher education in 2000, higher education in our country has been developing rapidly and the gross rate of enrollment in institutions of higher education has reached the level of developed countries. As a result, institutions of higher education must accelerate the pace of development and establish more colleges and universities to offer more opportunities to people. At this premise and against such a background, the government allowed more private capital to enter the higher educational system. Thus an increasing number of independent colleges have emerged at the historic moment.As a type of a new higher educational system, independent colleges, on one hand, own some incomparable strengths which traditional undergraduate colleges and universities are lacking in, but on the other hand, they have their own shortcomings, such as the short history, the lack of their own campus culture and an imperfect faculty, which, in turn, seriously affects the development of independent colleges. In this situation, the independent colleges in Anhui province strongly hope to establish a campus culture with their own characteristics for the long-term development. As a part of campus culture, Sports culture is relatively mature and easily manipulated. Therefore, its development plays a very important role for independent colleges to establish campus culture with their own characteristics. Although there are many researches into college sports cultural construction, few scholars have carried out a systematic and pertinent research into the sports cultural construction and dissemination of independent colleges.In this thesis the author makes use of methods, like literature, questionnaires and interviews of experts, to collect relevant data and keep up with the present situation of campus sports cultural construction of independent colleges in Anhui Province. This thesis investigates the issue from five aspects, including their sports material culture, sports system, spiritual construction, cognition and attitude of the leadership and the students. At the same time, the author analyses existing problems of sports cultural construction and dissemination in independent colleges of Anhui Province based on communications. In this process, the author focuses on such related elements as dissemination ideas, communication elements, ways of communication and communication methods, and then forms his own point of view. The author finds that Independent Colleges of Anhui Province are lacking in ideas, a healthy faculty and diversified ways of dissemination in the construction of sports culture, all of which may seriously affect campus sports cultural construction and in turn do no good to campus cultural construction.Based on these causes, the author proposes corresponding solutions and hopes that independent colleges of Anhui Province will strengthen the material cultural construction, establish a sound system and boost the spiritual construction to safeguard the healthy sports cultural construction, form their own unique campus culture and contribute to the development of higher education in Anhui Province.
