From the view of “two-way connections” and starting from the current status of school readiness of senior kindergarten children, the research in the paper aims to provide theoretical support for the kindergarten teachers and low grade primary school teachers to help the children under the transition period from kindergarten to primary school to find out the methods and means for their school readiness through comparative analysis on the school readiness concept of kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers, so as to further make the humble contribution for the enrichment of basic education theory. At same time, practice is provided for the kindergarten to conduct well school readiness education and for the primary school to carry out enrollment adaptation, and proven study is also provided for the kindergarten to implement Guide on Learning and Development of 3-6 Years Old Children and prepare well for the transition from kindergarten to primary school.In the study, the interviewing method is adopted; 10 senior kindergarten teachers and 10 primary school teachers were interviewed. The interviewing records were then coded, 5 dimensions and 25 items were obtained, including action development, social development, learning style, language development, Chinese and Maths knowledge. On basis of the coding results, questionnaire was prepared and survey was made in Shenyang City, Jinzhou City and Benxi Manchu Autonomous County. 150 kindergarten teachers and primary school teachers were selected to investigate teachers’ concept; and 60 kindergarten teachers were selected to learn about the current status of children’ school readiness.Through spss13.0 analysis, the following conclusion is drawn: 1. The overall situation of school readiness of senior kindergarten children is good; 2. The senior kindergarten teachers and the grade one teachers of primary school are quite aware of the importance of school readiness; 3. There exists large difference in the school readiness concept between grade one teachers of primary school and senior kindergarten teachers, especially in the aspects of action development, social development, learning style, language development, Chinese and Maths knowledge, and as well as the overall concept of school readiness; 4. The overall school readiness concept of senior kindergarten teachers is closely related with the current status of school readiness of senior kindergarten children.
