Initial teacher education is important for the development of teachers, as well as for the whole education system. Since the 1990 s, the United Kingdom have started to reform teacher education mode, searching for constructing a new mode characterized with partnership in universities and schools. This is helpful for bridging the gap between theory and practice resulted from university-based initial teacher mode,and improving teaching ability for new teachers.In contrast, although our nation already have a preliminary exploration building the partnership between university and schools.These practice are generally not enough for improving the quality of school education.So we shoulddraw on the valuable experience from UK and make oursmuch better. The research was made up of five parts:Part I:Theintroductionoftheoriginandtheliteratureofthisresearchdesign.Part II: Analyses the motivation and theoretical foundation of partnership in UK.Part III: Analyses the types,management and approach of partnership in UK.Part IV:Analyses the implementation effect and problems of partnership in UK.Part V:Analyses the development trends of this mode.
