The chemical experiment is the basis of chemical science and chemistry teaching, which has a direct influence on students’ learning. Through the chemical experiment, it can inspire students’ learning interest, help them understand the chemical concept and improve the experimental skills, and it also has an important significance to scientific attitude and innovative spirit training. In the chemical experiment teaching, the teacher often through a series of questions to cause the students to ponder, completes the teaching task, achieves the teaching goal, which we call a series of problems chain. In order to study the type and value of problem chain, improve the quality of the problem chain in chemistry experiment teaching,we divide the whole research work into three parts, which are "basic research", "support research" and "core", each part of work is as follows:In "basic research", the author firstly expounds the status and role of chemical experiment teaching; then, the literature reviews the domestic and foreign research on the problem chain; Finally, the case is analyzed.In the "support research", the author firstly summarizes the content of chemical experiment. Secondly, it defines some core concepts(questions and problems chain),which are involved in this study. Lastly, according to the problems in the practical teaching, it summarizes problems in chemical experiment teaching chain seven types and timing.In the "core",firstly, chemistry experiment teaching case analysis; followed by the design of the relevant test, and the test results are analyzed. Finally, we design questionnaire and the implementation of the survey.Through the analysis of students’ scores and questionnaire results, it is known that the use of problem chain in the process ofof chemistry experiment teaching is effective. The value which brings is worth affirmation. It not only encourage teachers and students to set up the basic idea of chemistry, to drive the students’ way of thinking, it can also help students to overcome the psychological barriers to learning.
