| With the development of communicative teaching method, more and more researchers began to pay attention and research the role playing types. They point out that the choices of different role playing types have some differences in the language knowledge and classroom teaching effect in primary school students. Grade four is a transition from a low grade to a higher grade in primary school, which is a key period for developing students’ learning ability, good character and emotion. Therefore, study the reasonable and effective application of role playing types in the four grade English class and analyze the problems in the application process, becomes the foothold and starting point of this research topic.On the basis of absorbing the relevant researches at home and abroad, this research uses the method of classroom observation, teacher interviews and other research methods, to observe fourth grade primary school English classroom in the Shijiazhuang Yu Hua District, then analyze the results reasonably, combined with the results of five teachers’ interview, refine and summary the application situation about role play types, at last put forward some suggestions to improve the reasonable use.This thesis includes six parts.Introduction. It includes the issue of the proposed, research significance, literature review at home and abroad, research methods and definition of related concepts.The first chapter is the theoretical basis, basic characteristics and teaching principles of English role playing type. This part is to construct the English role play type theory for classroom observation, provide a theoretical basis for the interview and analysis.The second chapter is the fourth grade A school English classroom observation, interview and analysis. Mainly in the A school four grade English class role play type to carry on the classroom observation records, and interview five English teachers, on this basis has carried on the overall analysis.The third chapter is the case study on the role of English role playing types in the grade four of A school. Mainly on the case of fully controlled, semi- controlled, semi-free, free type, and from the aspects of teaching objectives, students, teachers, teaching materials on the corresponding analysis.The fourth chapter is the basic strategy, existing problems and suggestions on the application of English role playing type. It expounds the basic application strategies of different types of role play, analyzes the problems existing in the application process, and puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the reasonable application of role playing in English class.The sixth part is conclusion. Further summarizes the thesis and points out the limitations of thesis exist. |
