In the new media age, the knowledge pedigree of Journalism and communication science has been reconstructed, the core concept of Journalism and communication theories has been changing and expanding, and the formation of knowledge is becoming increasingly complex. This paper is based on the perspective of knowledge theory,using historical, literature and case study method, from the perspective of the theory and practice of the two dimensions, to study the reconstruction of the knowledge pedigree of journalism and communication. In theory, observe and study the historical evolution and transformation of Journalism and communication, and clarifies the distinguishing features of the mode of production, organization, management and communication in the new media age; and then discuses how to construct a new kind of knowledge system.In practice, analyze the typical MOOC platform, the cases of curriculum, discus the feasibility of the MOOC which is viewed as a new educational model in a new type of educational model, which has advantages in providing personalized learning content,method and goal; and can make up for the shortcomings of traditional journalism and communication. But MOOC is only a kind of teaching mode; impossible to completely replace the traditional education. It will give the traditional education a booster, and the traditional education needs innovation and change. The author thinks that the traditional journalism and communication education and in the wider range of higher education should take the initiative to adapt to the Internet technology, which will be used in the teaching, taking in the cultivation of thinking, ideas and methods, and adding more practical training under the realistic situation.
