Based on the clear the purpose and significance of the study, this topic combines with the teaching practice activity in senior high school biology and uses the methods of literature analysis, questionnaire and interview. Understanding the biological science history and its development history in cultivating the students’ ability of exploring by reading literature. By using the questionnaire survey to analysis the current situation of high school students ability in exploring and in teaching, according to the result of the investigation, we discuss how to use the science history to cultivate students’ scientific inquiry ability in teaching.The core of this thesis is discussing how to apply the biological science history into teaching and to cultivate students’ ability of scientific inquiry. This paper has five parts, the first part is the preface, this part discuss the research purpose and significance, research status at home and abroad, the definition of core concepts, r e s e a r c h m e t h o d s, r e s e a r c h t h e o r y a n d t h e m a i n p r e m i s e o f t h e r e s e a r c h. The second part is the literature review on the biological science history in students’ exploring ability cultivation, including the effect of science history, scientific exploring ability and science history in cultivating the students’ ability of exploring, and explicit the significance of cultivating the students’ ability by science history. The third part analyze and discusse the investigation result of the biological science history and scientific inquiry ability, the biological science history status investigation will be from the five aspects:students’ interest degree of biological science history, students’ attention to the biological science content history, the approach of the student’ requiry the biological science history, the use of the history of biological science and the effect of biological science, the ability investigation in biological science will be from the level of students inquiring ability and the factors affecting the ability of students to explore the biological, at the same time, summarize the interviews of the teachers, this part is the focus of the paper, analyzing research results have important guiding significance to the teaching, provide an important theoretical basis and reference value for the teachers’ teaching. The fourth part, discusses the application of biological science history in the teaching to cultivate students’ ability of inquiry strategy, this part is mainly based on the results of the investigation to provide teachers with reference and recommendations. By using the biological science history, it can cultivate students’ scientific inquiry ability in teaching,develop the creative thinking and the creative personality of the students, and lay the foundation for the cultivation of innovative talents in China and the great scientist. The last part is the summary of my research on education.
