In the initial stage the new teacher is facing many teaching problems, so they need professional guidance. As a generally accepted measure, in the domestic and foreign school mentoring is widely used to solve the problems of new teachers’ professional development. With the development of vocational education and the concern of society, the requirements of teachers in secondary vocational school are also move with the times.In order to achieve the research goal, this essay mainly takes the literature research methods, the interviewing methods and the case analysis methods. To know the condition and problems of mentoring in secondary vocational school, this study searches related literature of mentoring and professional development. After investigating conditions, and thoroughly analyzing, this study uses the experiences for reference.The study takes a new nursing teacher in secondary vocational school and her mentoring as a case. The study trims the mentoring in China and at other countries and makes evaluation and analysis of these research results. The case study part, mainly introduced the mentoring system of S Health School, includes the implementation operation, the management and the evaluation. And shows Miss C’s mentoring as a preliminary introduction. This article focuses on the professional lead by three parts, the teaching preparation implementation, teaching process and teaching evaluation. The paper analyzes the effect of implementation, and puts forward suggestions for improvement of the mentoring, hopes to promote the development of new teachers in vocational school in China.
