| Occupation decision-making difficulties means the whole package of difficulties you would meet now and in the future when you make a career decision. And it includes totally three aspects: preparations shortage, collisions, information getting difficulties. College students are just going into the society of occupation, it’s very important for them to make a career decision. And nowadays a lot of things will lead the difficulties of occupation decision-making. Therefore, the research discussed the relationship among the Big five personality, Occupation self-efficacy and the Occupation decision-making difficulties, trying to find out the factors that affects the difficulties of occupation decision-making and the way it works, so to find out a solution or guidance to help students deal with the difficulties of occupation decision-making.This research combines two methods, including literature review and questionnaire investigating. Refer to the students samples to support the survey, we take 492 students in Jilin University random. And then adopts the function of the SPSS18.0 to do the difference examination, the ANOVA examination, the correlation analysis and the regression analysis. As a result, we make a conclusion as follows:1. The difficulties of occupation decision-making of students in Jilin University are in the low level, and according to the decreasing relativity the three major factors are the information getting difficulties, preparation shortage, and collisions.2. Occupation decision-making difficulties of students are not different from each other significantly on sex, education background, family environment, professional types and if they have siblings in the whole test, but they actually differ in specific factors.3.The Big five personality, the difficulties of occupation decision-making and the occupation self-efficacy are related to each other significantly according to the Pearson correlation analysis.4.The Big Five personality could predict the occupation self-efficacy, and also the difficulties of occupation decision-making, and occupation self-efficacy could also predict the occupation decision-making difficulties.5.According to the facts, the occupation self-efficacy is proved to be a mediation between the Big Five personality and the occupation decision-making difficulties. Specifically, Neuroticism factor, Extraversion factor and Conscientiousness is mediated by the occupation self-efficacy partly, Openness factor is mediated by the occupation self-efficacy totally, well Agreeableness factor isn’t proved to be a mediation at last. |
