Instrumental music teaching is an important part of the whole music education, and it is an important art practice for students to learn music. In the environment of promoting quality education, the teaching of instrumental music has become an important topic of the researchers. Since the promulgation of the new curriculum standards in 2001, instrumental music teaching has been developing towards a more bright direction, and the teaching of instrumental music has been injected into the traditional music class with unparalleled fresh vigor. In our country, there are still some flaws and deficiencies in the teaching of instrumental music in the elementary school.In this thesis, we use the method of questionnaire survey, sampling survey, visiting, and other methods to analyze the present situation of the teaching of instrumental music in Pingjiang county. Through the author’s own analysis and statistics, it is clear that a series of problems existed in the teaching of instrumental music in Pingjiang county. Through the search of a large number of relevant literature for a comprehensiveanalysis,fromtheliteraturetounderstandthegraspoftheimplementationoftheimplementationofprimaryschoolmusicinvariousregionsofourcountry.usingotherscholarstoproposeaneffectivesolution,combinedwiththeirownteachingexperiencetostudyaseriesofmeasuresforthepingjiangcountyprimaryschoolmusicteaching.theresearchofthispaperwillhavesomeinspirationtotheteachingofinstrumentalmusicinthenewcurriculumstandardofpingjiangcounty.throughthisresearch,wehopethatwecanprovidesomeinformationforthestudyofthemusicteaching.itcanbebettertoprovideacaseforthestudyofthefutureresearchoftheteachingofinstrumentalmusic.
